There are so many nasty ingredients found in any shampoos, whether they are for dogs or people. But thankfully, there are a growing number of organic dog shampoos on the market.
The key to choosing the best organic dog shampoo is to read the ingredient list, and check if the product is certified organic.
There are many shampoo manufacturers that label their shampoos natural or organic. They might have natural or organic ingredients and might not be able to afford to get the proper certification.
Unfortunately, there are shampoo makers that label their products as natural or organic but they still include chemicals and other nasties. For more information about USDA organic certification, please read here.
The topic of organic products for dogs is very popular in pet forums – people are wanting to use natural, healthier products for their pets.

Fluppets Certified Organic Pet Shampoo
Fluppets is another shampoo I’ve chosen for my best organic dog shampoo list. It’s a USDA certified organic product that’s been formulated in the U.S.

The shampoo’s great because it’s concentrated, which means you only need to use a little. The shampoo not only cleans your dog’s skin and coat but also leaves it looking healthy and shiny. The shampoo is safe for pets of all ages, and can be used on puppies, kittens, horses and rabbits too.
Another reason I’ve chosen Fluppets for my best organic dog shampoo list is because it’s ingredients don’t include parabens, phthalates, phospates, petrochemicals, synthetic fragrances, or sulfates. This is not only important for your pet’s health but also your health, since you’re the one giving your dog the bath.
There are NO animal by-products and the shampoo is eco-friendly and mild.
Another plus is that for every bottle of Fluppets sold, the manufacturer donates money to the Best Friends Animal Society. How generous is that?!
