Dog shampoo For Long/Medium Hair– Ideal For Itchy & Sensitive Skin Shampoo –All Natural Sulfate & Paraben Free, Scented, Anti-Fungal Veterinarian Formulated Long Hair Shampoo By Makondo Pets

I’ve chosen the Makondo dog shampoo for long/medium hair because it’s suited to sensitive skin and gently cleans your pup’s hair. It also moisturizes your dog’s skin, so this is a great shampoo if your dog has dry skin, especially during the summer months.

The shampoo contains natural ingredients such as egg yolk, wheat germ, nettle, Suma root and Vitamin E. Suma root comes from Brazil and is great for healing skin wounds and reducing itchiness. Wheat germ is an emollient, meaning that it softens and soothes the skin.

Wheat germ also acts as a conditioning ingredient, which is what makes it the best dog shampoo for long hair. The shampoo makes sure your dog doesn’t have tangled hair and makes it easy for you to brush.

Fresh ‘n Clean Scented Shampoo, Classic Fresh Scent

I really like the Fresh ‘n Clean scented shampoo which is why I’ve included it on my best shampoo for long haired dogs list. It’s a top seller on Amazon and other consumer sites, so it’s very popular among dog owners!

It has a lovely fresh scent which lasts for a while, and you can refresh the scent by simply wiping your dog’s coat with a moist towel.

The shampoo helps remove tangles in your long-haired dog’s hair, and it also contains anti-static agents. This keeps your dog’s coat clean, fresh, and easy to groom and manage.

This is a great shampoo as it can also be used on cats (except not recommended for Persian cats, so it’s economical if you have both a pet dog and cat.

Please read the ingredient list, as it is not a 100% natural product- there are some typical shampoo chemicals in the Fresh ‘n Clean scented shampoo. If you have a hypoallergenic dog or a dog with sensitive skin, this might not be the best choice shampoo for you.
